Our resident of the month is John Sparks from Traditions of Lebanon.

John has lived at Traditions of Lebanon for 1 and 1/2 years. When it was time to find a senior living community, John’s daughter-in-law Stephanie helped choose Traditions of Lebanon. “I trust her completely,” John said.

John was born in Indiana but was raised and lived in Xenia, Ohio. John worked as an Aerospace Engineer and a Professor, which may explain his love of Legos, one of his favorite hobbies. “I like to build things out of Lego and set them up in the lobby for everyone to enjoy,” he said.

John is a widower, he has a son named Curt, and two grandkids, Gallantin and Greyson.

John is very active in the community. He enjoys reading, attending church, writing poetry, socializing, exercising, painting, and spending time with his family.

“The people here really appreciate kindness and being a good neighbor,” John said.

“John enjoys helping others,” said Monique Campbell, Community Relations Director at Traditions of Lebanon. “He does so much for everyone in the community.”
Congratulations, John!
